Breast Center of New England performs 2D/3D mammograms (3D is known in the medical world as “tomosynthesis”) with state-of-the art GE machines built with comfort in mind. Screening mammograms – annual exams for women without new breast problems – and diagnostic mammograms – problem-solving exams frequently used in conjunction with ultrasound – can both be read while you wait, if Dr. Lizer is available.
